When it comes to fashion news this season, it’s easy to stay in the loop. As seen here around town, oversize bows are unabashedly girly on kittenish heels and chic handbags. “I think designers have realized they need to give customers a reason to buy something new, and bows talk to women’s emotional sides,” says Karen Fabbri, owner of the irresistible Moxie boutiques in Boston and Wellesley. The coquettish trend is such a hit in footwear that women are willing to build their outfits from the ground up, she adds. You’ll really be bowled over.
